Sexual Fantasies

Fantasising is a very healthy activity. We use our imaginations to make up stories in our minds. The images can be so life-like that they provoke a response or stir up an emotion. Sexual fantasies are no different. We play thoughts and images in our minds which, in turn, make us feel randy.

But what do we do with these fantasies? Well, if we are with someone we fancy the pants off, great! You can improve your sex games further by dressing up in fabulous Funtimz costumes - policewoman, nurse, maid, wench.

If you are not in a relationship, don't despair, Funtimz is here! We have some great toys for guys who need a little light relief.

Some people like to act out their fantasies - hence, role play and buying an assortment of weird and wonderful uniforms. And swingers and fetish clubs are popping up all over the place and dogging is also becoming more commonplace. Even when it is possible to act out a fantasy, is it always a good idea? In some cases, it is definitely the right thing to do and can be a very pleasurable experience. In other cases, it spoils the dream, because reality often fails to meet the expectations of the fantasy. But, you can liven things up with a visit to the Funtimz costume shop which is always a great idea!

Fetishes
The word fetish usually conjures up images of people dressed in rubber whipping each other for sexual pleasure. But fetish itself, covers a wide range desires. Fetishes can be focused on shoes and boots, especially when they are part of the exciting Funtimz range, hair and haircuts, gloves, wigs, body piercing, underclothing, nappies, or rubber, spandex, leather, latex or nylon.

Other fetishistic attachments can be to specific parts of the body, such as head or body hair, legs, feet or breasts, or specific shapes of the body which could explain foot binding in China in pre-modern times and extensive corset use in the West in the 19th century.

Transvestic fetishism, the fetish of dressing in the clothes of the opposite sex, is also common. Some clothing materials are fetishised by a small number of people, perhaps on the basis that the material forms a ‘second skin’ that acts as a fetishistic surrogate for the wearer's own skin. The most common forms of this are spandex fetishism, rubber fetishism and latex fetishism, in which the fabric is both stretchy and shiny, exaggerating some of the aspects of human skin.

Sometimes, whole cultures can develop the fetish to such an extent that it is no longer perceived as a fetish, but merely as a normal sexual desire; for example late-Victorian England's ankle fetish, or the modern commonplace fetish for lingerie, especially Funtimz lingerie which offers a wide range of beautiful erotic clothing from basques and babydolls, through to thongs and briefs, stockings and tights, and even catsuits.

Fetishism, like other forms of human sexuality, can be extremely varied and can encompass almost any aspect of human behaviour. In popular culture, the term 'fetish' has gained a broader meaning, and as our fetish section of sexy PVC, latex and real leather clothing confirm, you don’t have to be unusual to enjoy our fetish wear, much of which will have a far broader appeal and which is designed to make you look and feel very sexy indeed.
